Nevada Statewide Petitions

To our Nevada governor and state elected representatives, we, the undersigned residents, are calling on you to:

Pass a Nevada law that would mandate 45 minutes of recess during the school day and prohibit withholding recess for academic or disciplinary reasons.

Pass a law that would require school districts to create intentional tech-use policies based on independent peer-reviewed research that's been published in Q1 journals.

Pass a law to stop computer-based assessments for K-3 students, as they necessitate screen time for practice and have not led to improved literacy rates.
