How to comment at a WCSD meeting
-
Plan to arrive at 2 p.m. or join our WhatsApp group to receive an alert when the comment period is an estimated 30 minutes away, so you can head down to the meeting when you receive the alert.
-
Feel free to bring the kids, and they are welcome to provide their own comments as well.
-
When you arrive, fill out one blue comment card from the table in the lobby for each agenda item you want to comment on. Then walk to the front of the meeting room and hand your comment card to the clerk, who sits at the right near the podium.
-
The clerk will call your name when it's your turn to comment. Only one public comment is allowed per person for each agenda item, and public comments are timed and cut off at 3 minutes, so please prepare and time your comment in advance.
